Encik Ahmad bin Abu Bakar a Malaysian, male, aged 62 and is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. He was appointed to the Board on 9 April 2008. During the financial year ended 30 June 2017, he has been re-designated as the Chairman of the Audit Committee effective 28 February 2017. He is also the member of Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee of the Company.

Encik Ahmad is an Accountant by profession. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He is also a Director of Malaysia Land Ventures Berhad and several private limited companies.

He does not have any family relationship with any other Directors and/or a major shareholder of the Company and has no conflict of interest with the Company. He has had no convictions for offences within the past five years.
